nRole Overview
nWe are looking for a skilled Cyber Security Engineer with hands-on experience in Microsoft security technologies, including Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for XDR, and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, detection, incident response, and improving the overall security posture of the organization.
nKey Responsibilities
nA. Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM)
n
- n
- Configure, manage, and maintain Microsoft Sentinel environmentsn
- Develop and fine-tune analytics rules, alerts, and workbooksn
- Monitor security events and respond to incidents in real timen
- Integrate log sources via connectors (Azure, O365, AWS, etc.)n
- Perform threat hunting using KQL (Kusto Query Language)n

nB. Microsoft Defender for XDR
n
- n
- Manage and configure Defender products (Defender for Endpoint, Office 365,



Identity, Cloud Apps)n
- Analyze threats and respond to alerts using XDR portaln
- Implement automated response actions and playbooksn

nC. CSPM (Cloud Security Posture Management)
n
- n
- Implement and manage CSPM tools (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Cloud)n
- Perform cloud security assessments and risk analysisn
- Ensure compliance with security frameworks and best practicesn
- Identify misconfigurations and drive remediation effortsn

nD. Incident Response & SOC Support
n
- n
- Investigate and respond to security incidentsn
- Conduct root cause analysis and provide mitigation recommendationsn
- Prepare incident reports and documentationn
- Participate in SOC operations and escalation handlingn
