Role Title: Founding Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Compensation: Modest Base Salary + Significant Equity (10%–25% depending on cash vs. sweat equity)
Role SummaryWe are seeking an execution-focused Founding CTO to lead the design, architecture, and deployment of our enterprise clinical surveillance and patient recall platform. Working directly with the clinician founder, you will take our functional prototype, harden it for hospital-grade security, and scale our automated WhatsApp and EHR-integrated recall engine across major private hospital networks.
Core Responsibilities1. Hands-on Engineering & Systems Architecture (Day 1 Focus)
- Architect, build, and maintain our core platform: the protocol scheduling engine, WhatsApp Business API communication layer, and hospital outpatient navigator consoles.
- Own the full-stack development lifecycle (CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, automated database migrations).
- Ensure 99.9% system uptime, zero-data-loss database clustering,



and resilient fault-tolerance for high-volume automated messaging.

2. Healthcare Compliance, Security & Data Governance
- Enforce strict compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 and Indian health data residency rules (AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, role-based access controls).
- Lead the technical defense for third-party security audits, including CERT-In empaneled VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing).
- Ensure architecture follows ABDM (Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission) milestones (M1/M2/M3) and aligns with HL7 FHIR standards for patient record exchange.

3. Enterprise Hospital & EHR Integration
- Design low-friction data ingestion pipelines for hospital clients, starting with automated daily billing/EHR data parsers (CSV/HL7 feeds) and graduating to deep, bidirectional API integrations with major Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
