We are looking for an experienced Placement & Industry Relations Manager who can take ownership of student placements and build strong relationships with software companies for fresher recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange and coordinate interviews for our trained students with software companies in Kolkata.
- Identify relevant fresher job opportunities through job portals, LinkedIn, company websites, online communities, and other sources.
- Actively follow up with our network of 200+ software companies to identify current and upcoming hiring requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with HR teams, recruiters, hiring managers,
and company representatives.
- Connect with companies regularly through phone calls, email, and other communication channels to generate placement opportunities.
- Visit companies directly whenever required to develop relationships and explore recruitment opportunities.
- Develop recent corporate relationships and establish recruitment tie-ups with larger software companies.
- Understand the hiring requirements of companies and coordinate suitable student profiles accordingly.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with companies regarding interview schedules, candidate feedback and selection status.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in placement, recruitment, corporate relations, or a similar role, preferably within the software/IT industry.
- Strong understanding of the Kolkata software/IT recruitment market.
- Existing relationships with software companies and HR/recruitment
