Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced professional with strong hands-on expertise in Direct and Indirect Taxation and Tax Compliance, along with experience in people/team management, process quality, MIS and client interaction.

The ideal candidate should have a robust understanding of Direct Tax and Indirect Tax processes, TDS, Income Tax, GST, tax reconciliations and related statutory requirements, combined with the ability to manage a team and drive operational performance.

Taxation (Direct & Indirect) is the core functional requirement for this role. People Management, MIS, Quality and Client Management are additional responsibilities.

Direct Taxation – Core Requirement
- Strong knowledge of Direct Taxation, Income Tax and TDS.
- Handle/review TDS calculations, deductions, reconciliations and filings.
- Support Income Tax returns, tax statements and related documentation.
- Handle tax notices, queries,



assessments and tax compliance issues.
- Support tax audits and tax authority-related requirements.
- Perform Direct Tax reconciliation and variance analysis.
- Maintain tax records, working papers and supporting documentation.
- Provide functional guidance on Direct Tax-related queries and issues.

Indirect Taxation – Core Requirement
- Strong knowledge of Indirect Taxation, GST and related statutory compliance.
- Handle/review GST calculations, reconciliations and GST return filings.
- Experience with GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation and related GST activities.
- Handle GST notices, queries, audits and assessments, wherever applicable.
- Support GST compliance, tax reconciliation and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders for GST-related queries and resolutions.
- Maintain GST records, workings and supporting documentation.
