- Why this role exists
- We don’t yet have a structured way to hire and train fresher sales talent from colleges. This role is being created to build that system end-to-end — from campus relationships through a 90-day training program to a full career ladder for young Sales Officers — from scratch. You’ll be the first person to own this function.
- - Reporting to: Founder, directly
- - Location: Based in Ahmedabad, with regular travel to colleges across Gujarat/Rajasthan and to our factory in Kunha village, on the Indore-Godhra Highway, Daskroi, Ahmedabad, for training sessions
- - Work structure: Hybrid to start (until we set up a dedicated office) — roughly 3 days/week in the field (colleges, factory, trainee audits), 2 days/week flexible for planning and admin work
- - Key Responsibilities
- - 1. Identify and build relationships with Tier-2/Tier-3 colleges in our operating territories (Mehsana, Deesa, Banaskantha, Sirohi, Jalore, and surrounding districts)
- 2. Design and run the selection process — group case discussion, live field day, final interview — for every hiring cohort
- 3. Deliver Month 1 classroom training (product knowledge, selling fundamentals, grooming, values) and coordinate Month 2-3 field training with our Area Sales Managers

Track every trainee’s progress through a weekly scorecard and flag at-risk hires early
- 5. Conduct exit interviews for every departure and turn that data into system improvements
- 6. Report hiring and training metrics directly to the founder
- - What we’re looking for
- - • 2-4 years of experience in campus or frontline hiring — FMCG, insurance, or BFSI trainee programs are ideal backgrounds
- • Genuine comfort with fieldwork, travel, and working directly with young trainees and experienced field staff
- • Fluent in Gujarati and Hindi; working proficiency in English
- • Graduate required; MBA/PGDM in HR is a solid plus but not mandatory if you have the right hands-on experience
- • Basic proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets for tracking and reporting

- Based on experience — open to discussing based on what you bring to the role.

- - You won’t be joining an existing HR department — you’ll be building a new function from the ground up, with full ownership and direct access to the founder. You design the process and the system. If it works, it becomes the model for how Charbhuja scales its entire field sales organization over the next few years.
