Our platform, XpertCoding, autonomously codes outpatient medical claims directly from clinical documentation using neural networks, machine learning, and natural language processing.

Position Summary

You are a physician who applies clinical judgment to make an AI system better at reading medical documentation. You review the codes XpertCoding assigns from US outpatient clinical notes, decide where they are right and where they are wrong, and feed what you learn back into the engine so it improves. You work closely with the Medical Director, the engineering team, and the CEO. This is a non-clinical role. You will not see patients, prescribe, or provide any form of clinical care. If you want to continue practicing medicine, this role is not for you.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will:

- Validate the clinical accuracy of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes generated by XpertCoding from US outpatient documentation.
- Review edge cases and ambiguous clinical notes and decide the correct clinical interpretation.
- Translate clinical reasoning into feedback the engineering team can act on to refine the NLP and machine learning models.




- Own the medical accuracy of the training and evaluation data used to improve the platform.
- Flag recurring patterns of documentation gaps, coding errors, and clinical inconsistencies across client data.
- Ensure clinical outputs align with US payer expectations and CMS coding guidelines.
- Uphold HIPAA and applicable US healthcare data compliance requirements in every review.
- Work directly with the Medical Director and engineering team on the day-to-day roadmap for clinical quality.

Required Qualifications

- MBBS.
- Strong written and spoken English, sufficient to work in detail with US clinical documentation.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to explain a clinical judgment clearly in writing to non-clinicians.

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with US medical coding: ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS.
- Prior work with medical claims, revenue cycle management, or payer data.
- Experience with US EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athena.

Location and Schedule

This is an on-site role in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, Monday through Friday. Hours are 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST to overlap with the Scottsdale, Arizona team. Candidates who are not already in the NCR must relocate before their start date.

- Base salary of 20 to 30 lakh per year, commensurate with experience.
