- Manage and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, IPS/IDS, and load balancers.
- Support and monitor network components in on-premises and cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, acting as an escalation point for critical incidents.
- Implement and maintain security measures across network systems.
- Review vulnerability reports and assist in remediation activities.
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability.
- Maintain and update network documentation and topology diagrams.
- Collaborate with global teams for network upgrades and projects.
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for network support.
Your Profile:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5-9 years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
- Robust knowledge of Layer 2/Layer 3 technologies (VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP).
- Experience with enterprise-grade hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Check Point).
- Basic to intermediate exposure to cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNets).
- Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and network security protocols.
- Working knowledge of monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark).
- Good understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals.
- Network certification preferred (CCNP or equivalent).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a global team and handle escalations effectively.
