Role Description
The Head of Sales is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for driving revenue across Idea Simplified's owned industry platforms (IPs) and bespoke client events. This is not a single-product sales role — you will own three distinct revenue streams: sponsorship & exhibitor sales , delegate/ticket sales , and client/brand partnership deals for custom-built events.
You will build and run the sales function end-to-end:



setting targets and pipelines across these streams, leading new business development for both owned IPs and client-commissioned events, and ensuring sponsors, exhibitors and delegates return year after year — not just once. You will lead, mentor and evaluate a sales team spanning senior BD and telecalling, use data to sharpen targeting and pricing, and work closely with marketing to convert market visibility into actual bookings. You'll also represent Idea Simplified at industry events, stay close to market trends, and feed client/sponsor feedback into how we design future IPs.
