We are looking for a commercially minded and market-focused qualified to drive growth opportunities across the footwear, apparel, textile, and accessories markets. This role will support the development and execution of market strategies, identify emerging trends and customer needs, and translate insights into actionable business opportunities. Working closely with regional and global stakeholders, the incumbent will lead strategic initiatives, contribute to innovation and portfolio development, and strengthen customer engagement through industry interactions and market activation activities. The role serves as a key link between sales, marketing, technical, and global teams, ensuring local market insights shape strategic business decisions and growth plans.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and execution of market strategies across footwear, apparel, textile and accessories markets, working closely with regional and global stakeholders
- Monitor market developments, emerging trends and customer needs,
translating observations into actionable recommendations and quantified growth opportunities
- Drive selected strategic projects and growth initiatives from planning through implementation, ensuring timely execution and stakeholder alignment
- Provide strategic input to innovation, product portfolio and launch related activities through market insights & data, value proposition development, prioritization
- Support customer and market engagement activities, including workshops, industry events and strategic business discussions
- Being based in a growth market, act as a connector between sales, marketing and technical teams, representing on-the-ground business realities in global discussions
Skills :
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in market development, strategy, marketing, business development or related commercial functions
- Knowledge of sporting goods and/or fashion markets and their value chains, including footwear, apparel, tex
