About Maxima
Nobody went into accounting to spend the first week of every month matching transactions by hand. Maxima was built so they don't have to. Our agents do the accounting work itself: journal entries, transaction matching, reconciliations, and flux analysis, in real time and to SOX standards. Accountants review and approve. Nothing posts without a person signing off. We remove the grind, not the human.

The role
As a Deployment Engineer, you get customers live. You will sit alongside Account Executives through complex deal cycles,



run technical proofs of concept, and then build what each customer needs to launch: integrations to their transaction systems, custom modules, and prompt and model tuning so the AI performs the way their accounting requires. When something breaks in production, you are the one who fixes it.
This is engineering with a customer in the room. Communication matters as much as code.

What you'll do
- Work with Account Executives on complex deal cycles involving multiple stakeholders
- Run technical proof-of-concept processes and present tailored demos based on customer and business needs
- Lead technical discovery calls and write the implementation scoping document for each customer that launches with Maxima
- Tune prompts and models to get the right AI performance for each client
- Build integrations to transaction systems such as revenue, billing, and accounts payable, and the custom modules customers need to go
