Lead the execution of EHV Transmission Line projects, ensuring timely construction, statutory approvals, stakeholder coordination, and compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsible for managing contractors, resolving RoW issues, mitigating project risks, and driving project delivery within schedule and budget
Position Demands
Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in EHV transmission line construction. Ability to operate in a professionally ethical and transparent manner.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
1. Project & Construction Management
- Lead execution of EHV transmission line projects within approved timelines.
- Manage EPC contractors and subcontractors for smooth site execution.
- Monitor project milestones, identify risks, and resolve bottlenecks proactively.
2. Statutory Clearances
- Prepare, submit, and track statutory crossing proposals.
- Coordinate with authorities for timely inspections, NOCs, and approvals.
3. Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with government authorities,
district administration, and local stakeholders.
- Resolve Right-of-Way (RoW) issues to ensure uninterrupted project progress.
4. Health, Safety & Workplace (HSE)
- Ensure compliance with organizational and statutory safety standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor HSE performance and promote a strong safety culture.
5. Quality Assurance
- Ensure construction activities comply with quality standards and project specifications.
- Monitor and address quality issues to achieve successful project delivery.
