Position: Production Manager (Unit Head)

nReporting To: Director – Head of furniture & Head of Factory operations

nKey Responsibilities
n

n1. Productivity:
n● Utilization targets per the year, 70% across all applicable shifts
n

n2. Quality:
n● 99% quality rate
n● Act as the voice of the customer within manufacturing operations.
n● Ensure product quality standards consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.
n● Utilise customer feedback, field failures, warranty trends and operational insights to
ncontinuously improve manufacturing processes
n

n3. Cost:
n● Identifying recent projects to reduce fixed and variable costs and execution till closure and
nhereby achieving AOP targets
n● Own plant profitability through productivity improvement, waste elimination,material
noptimisation and process excellence.
n● Challenge existing assumptions and identify innovative ways to improve operational




nefficiency while maintaining quality and safety standards.
n

n4. Delivery:
n● OTIF 98%+, conducting daily cadence, solutioning and sustenance
n

n5. Safety:
n● Ensuring and guiding best safety practises and driving related projects
n● Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all statutory, environmental
nand regulatory requirements while maintaining the highest standards of workplace
nsafety.

n6. Morale:
n● Identifying best practises and gaps in Wakefit
n● Foster a culture of operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing,
n● Total Productive Maintenance, Kaizen, Six Sigma and structured problem solving.
n

nEssential Qualifications
n1. Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Production or Manufacturing
nEngineering.
n2. 12+ years of manufacturing experience.
n3. 5+ years leading a manufacturing facility.
n4. Experience managing large production teams.
n

nPreferred Qualifications
n1. MBA
