This is a fully remote finance role responsible for maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant financial records across multiple entities. You will oversee core bookkeeping and accounting operations while supporting monthly reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and year-end activities. The role offers the chance to work with U.S.-focused accounting practices, including GAAP and taxation requirements. You will play an important part in strengthening financial controls, improving accounting processes, and providing reliable information for business decisions. Working closely with finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, you will help ensure smooth and efficient financial operations. The position is suited to an experienced accounting professional who is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities

Maintain accurate and timely records of daily financial transactions and the general ledger, ensuring accounting information is complete and reliable.

Prepare and support monthly financial reports, financial statements, operating metrics, budgets, forecasts, and year-end reporting.

Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.

Manage accounts payable activities, ensuring invoices are processed and paid on time and applicable discounts are captured.

Monitor debt-related payments, including company credit cards, loans, and lines of credit, to ensure obligations are met on schedule.

Maintain accounting operations, controls, policies, procedures, and digital filing systems across multiple legal entities.
