Description
As an Accounting Analyst, you will support day-to-day accounting operations and monthly financial close activities, with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and continuous improvement.
You will work closely with finance teams and other internal stakeholders to prepare and review accounting entries, perform reconciliations, investigate variances, resolve queries, and maintain supporting documentation. You will also have opportunities to identify process gaps and use tools such as Excel, Power Automate, macros, or robotic process automation to improve accounting processes.
This role is well suited to a fresh CA/CMA qualified professional who has robust accounting fundamentals, analytical ability, attention to detail, and an interest in building a career in financial accounting and reporting.

Responsibilities
- Support month-end close activities, including preparation, review, and processing of journal entries within agreed timelines.
- Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis, investigate discrepancies, and support timely resolution.




- Monitor accounting-related queries and shared mailboxes, ensuring responses and resolutions are completed within agreed service timelines.
- Identify accounting or process issues, perform initial root-cause analysis, and support development of corrective actions.
- Support intercompany accounting and approvals, financial statement preparation, and monitoring of accounting activities related to areas such as payroll, tax, and credit losses.
- Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation to ensure they accurately reflect current ways of working.
- Complete periodic accounting and internal-control checklists and required signoffs.
- Collaborate effectively with finance teams and other internal stakeholders across locations to resolve accounting queries and support smooth process transitions.
