PIPECARE Group is looking for an experienced Global Tax Advisor, based in India and reporting to the Group CFO, to own the Group's tax compliance, policy and strategy across all operating jurisdictions.

Purpose of the role

The role ensures the Group and its subsidiaries meet their tax obligations accurately and on time, carry no unmanaged tax exposure and are structured tax-efficiently. It is a specialist advisory and oversight role: the holder owns Group tax and transfer-pricing policy, directs the external regional tax advisors and reviews the tax position of the business. It does not carry responsibility for accounting operations, headcount or compensation, which sit elsewhere in Finance.
Key responsibilities

Policy and transfer pricing
- Tax and TP policy. Own the Group tax policy and the related intercompany transfer-pricing policy, keeping both current and enforced across all entities.
- Contract review. Review and approve incoming contracts for tax cost and for the correct PIPECARE contracting entity, before award.

Compliance and oversight
- Group compliance.



Ensure compliance in all operating countries, EMEA, India, the USA and the Americas, across corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax and transfer pricing, on time and accurately.
- Direct the advisors. Coordinate and hold accountable the external regional tax advisors, auditors and authorities in each jurisdiction, owning the quality and timeliness of their output.
- Filings. Prepare and review tax filings, documentation and reports across the Group, and ensure accurate tax accounting and reconciliation under IFRS and local GAAP.
- Internal tax assurance. Provide assurance that the Group and its subsidiaries carry no undisclosed tax liabilities, with particular attention to permanent-establishment risk on cross-border work.
