Job Purpose

The Head – Treasury will own the company's overall treasury strategy, including funds mobilisation from domestic and international debt markets, investment of surplus liquidity, and management of interest rate, currency, and liquidity risk. The role is accountable for optimising the cost of funds, ensuring robust liquidity and ALM management, maintaining full regulatory compliance, and building deep relationships with banks, mutual funds, insurance companies, rating agencies, and other market participants. The role leads the entire Treasury function and is a key member of the Finance leadership team, working closely with the CFO on funding strategy, capital structure, and Board/ALCO reporting.

Job Context & Major Challenges

Treasury at Bajaj Auto Credit Limited is responsible for mobilising and deploying funds at optimal cost, managing asset-liability risk, maintaining regulatory liquidity buffers (LCR), hedging interest rate and currency exposure, and sustaining relationships with a broad base of lenders and investors — all while supporting the growth of the company's lending book.
