Position Overview

nThe Plant Head will be responsible for establishing and leading a state-of-the-art 10 GWh lithium-ion

nbattery pack assembly facility, driving operational excellence, ensuring safety, and delivering high-

nquality output aligned with business objectives. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role

ninvolving end-to-end ownership of plant setup, commissioning, production operations, workforce

ndevelopment, and continuous improvement.

nKey Responsibilities

n1️⃣ Plant Setup & Commissioning

n Lead the setup of the greenfield Li-ion battery pack assembly facility from concept to full-

nscale production.

n Define plant layout, equipment selection, installation, automation requirements, and

nproduction workflow design.

n Ensure adherence to project timelines, cost objectives, compliance, and quality standards.

n Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, EHS, Quality, and Technology teams for

nseamless commissioning.

n2️⃣ Manufacturing Operations – 10 GWh Output

n Oversee full-scale production operations delivering MWh and GWh level containerized

nbattery energy storage solutions.

n Define and manage KPIs for productivity, yield, safety, delivery, and overall equipment

neffectiveness (OEE).

n Ensure strict compliance with global standards for battery performance, traceability, and

nEV/BESS industry norms.





n Drive digital manufacturing implementation including MES, automation, and data-driven

ndecision-making.

n3️⃣ Leadership & People Management

n Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing workforce including experienced senior

nengineers, supervisors, and technicians.

n Establish a robust culture of safety, operational discipline, continuous improvement, and

naccountability.

n Enable talent development and succession planning to support rapid business scale-up.

n4️⃣ Supply Chain & Inventory Management

n Work closely with SCM to ensure availability of critical components including cells, modules,

nBMS, enclosures, and raw materials.

n Optimize inventory planning, vendor performance, and logistics efficiency for uninterrupted

noperations.

n5️⃣ Quality, Safety & Regulatory Compliance

n Implement world-class Quality Management Systems (ISO/TS standards).

n Ensure best-in-class EHS practices tailored to Li-ion battery handling, storage, and

nmanufacturing.

n Ensure plant operations comply with national and international regulatory requirements.

n6️⃣ Cost & Performance Optimization

n Drive operational excellence initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, and

ncontinuous improvement projects.

n Monitor plant budget, cost drivers, and ensure profitability and productivity targets are met.
