QOSMIC builds advanced laser communication systems that replace traditional radio frequencies, delivering faster, more secure data transfer for satellites, defense networks, and deep-space missions. With our patented technology successfully field-tested and validated, we are moving rapidly to capture global market share. We are incubated at ARTPARK/IISc and backed by top-tier investors including Accel, Prosus, and South Park Commons.
We are looking for a highly driven Business Development Lead to work directly with our CEO and own our commercial growth end-to-end. As QOSMIC transitions from R&D; to full commercial deployment, you will be the face of the company globally. Your mission is to build global market exposure, secure high-value contracts, and strategically position our complete suite of space hardware, customized optical components,



and ground-station services in front of international commercial, defense, and government buyers.

Responsibilities
- Actively monitor, synthesize, and analyze global space sector shifts, market trends, regulatory updates, and competitor movements to preemptively adapt commercial strategies and account positioning.
- Own and drive the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation, cold outreach, and technical pitching through to contract negotiation, risk mitigation, and closing.
- Nurture and deepen our robust existing relationships with international aerospace and defense entities, while actively driving new global partnerships and expanding our brand footprint at major industry symposia, conferences, and targeted client roadshows.
- Partner directly with the CEO on strategic market entry, go-to-market positioning, competitive intelligence, and account-level pipeline planning.
