Data Platform Engineer

About the Role :

We are looking for a Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, reliable data platforms. The role combines database engineering, data modeling, performance, reliability, automation, and DBA responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design data models, schemas, indexes, partitioning and database architecture.
- Manage and optimize PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis and Cassandra/ScyllaDB.
- Handle query optimization, performance tuning, replication, HA, backup and recovery.
- Design scalable and reliable database solutions for production workloads.
- Support Kafka/CDC and data movement requirements.
- Automate database operations using Python/Shell, Terraform or Ansible.
- Monitor database health,



capacity, availability and performance.
- Lead database migrations, upgrades and production troubleshooting.
- Work closely with Backend, Platform and Architecture teams.
