Job Description
Phox Health is looking for a hands-on Finance Controller to own and drive finance and controllership activities across our US and India businesses. The ideal candidate is someone who can work at both the strategic and transaction level — independently managing core finance activities while partnering with leadership, external advisors, and cross-functional teams.

nResponsibilities

- Drive monthly close and financial reporting for US and India entitiesn
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, management reports, and key financial metricsn
- Manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow planning, and management reportingn
- Review and manage day-to-day accounting activities, including AP, AR, billing, collections, payroll, vendor payments, and COD settlementsn
- Perform and review account reconciliations, including bank, intercompany, and balance sheet reconciliationsn
- Manage intercompany accounting and support transfer-pricing requirementsn
- Review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and other month-end accounting activitiesn




- Establish and maintain approval workflows, financial controls, and accounting processesn
- Coordinate with US CPAs, Indian CAs, auditors, tax advisors, and other external partnersn
- Support audit, tax, and statutory compliance requirements across US and Indian
- Review and approve payroll, payment, and client-remittance batchesn
- Work closely with transaction-level operational data to identify discrepancies, improve controls, and drive accuracyn
- Build automated, scalable finance processes and reduce manual workn
- Provide financial insights and analysis to US and India leadership to support business decisionsn
- Drive continuous improvement across finance operations, systems, and reportingn
