HR Manager — House of Daisy Location: Gurugram, Haryana | Experience: 5–8 years | Full time, on-roll Industry: Bridal & Celebration Wear / Fashion Retail About the role House of Daisy is a bridal and celebration wear label in Gurugram. We are looking for an HR Manager to own the complete HR function across our retail store and our in-house production unit. This is a standalone role reporting to the Founder — you will build the function, not inherit one.

Talent
Acquisition & Onboarding Own end-to-end hiring for store, production, design, marketing and back-office roles Reduce time-to-fill and maintain a ready talent pipeline for high-turnover positions Ensure all positions are staffed before peak wedding and festive season Issue offer and appointment letters, complete documentation and run structured induction 2. Attendance, Payroll Inputs &
Compensation Manage attendance, leave and shift rosters across both sites Deliver an accurate monthly payroll input sheet to Accounts on a fixed date Administer retail incentive schemes and production-side wage structures Process full-and-final settlements and exit documentation within defined turnaround 3.
Statutory
Compliance & Labour Law Ensure full compliance under the new labour codes, EPF, ESI, gratuity and maternity benefit provisions Maintain establishment registrations and file all statutory returns on time Constitute and maintain the POSH Internal Committee, conduct annual awareness and file the annual return Keep the organisation audit-ready with zero penalties or late filings 4.
Performance Management
Run the annual KRA cycle — goal setting,
mid-year review and appraisal Ensure 100% of on-roll employees have signed KRAs Close probation and confirmation decisions on time and on evidence Identify high performers and build a succession line for supervisory roles 5.
Employee
Relations, Discipline & Grievance Handling Act as first point of contact for employee grievances across both sites Handle disciplinary matters through a documented warning, show-cause and enquiry process Resolve attendance, conduct and shift-allocation issues fairly and on record Identify and address attrition risk before it escalates 6. Training & Development Build and execute the annual training calendar Cover client handling, product knowledge, grooming, POSH, and fire and safety Conduct shop-floor training in Hindi for the production team Link training completion to confirmation and increment decisions 7. HR Operations, Records & Policy Maintain complete and compliant personnel files for every employee Draft and update the employee handbook and HR policies in Hindi and English Manage the HRMS / biometric attendance system and its data accuracy Publish a monthly HR dashboard — headcount, joinings, exits, attrition, open positions, cost per hire 8.
Employee
Engagement & Retention Drive the engagement calendar across festivals, recognition and celebrations Conduct exit interviews for all separations and report attrition trends Own the retention plan for peak season Candidate Requirements Graduate with MBA / PGDM in HR or Personnel Management 5–8 years in HR, with at least 2 years handling HR independently Experience in retail, fashion, hospitality or a retail-plus-production environment Working knowledge of current Indian labour legislation and hands-on experience with PF, ESI, gratuity and POSH compliance Strong command of Hindi and English, both written and spoken Proficient in Excel and HRMS / attendance systems Based in Gurugram or willing to relocate
