A Canada based property management company is looking to hire Financial Accountant to perform accounting transactions, reconciliations, financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, and supports property managers with financial analysis and reporting.

Job Type : Remote/ Virtual / Work from home

Job Hours : Night Shift (9pm to 4pm Monday to Friday ; 9pm to 1am Saturday)

Salary : INR 20,000 - INR 25,000

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate financial records for multiple properties and property-related transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Record and reconcile rental income, service charges, maintenance expenses, utilities, and other property-related transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including supplier invoices, tenant payments, and outstanding balances.
- Perform bank, tenant, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Monitor rental collections, overdue accounts, and outstanding tenant balances.
- Prepare property-level income and expense reports and analyze budget versus actual performance.
- Process invoices, payments, receipts, journals, and other accounting entries.




- Maintain accurate records of security deposits and tenant-related financial transactions.
- Assist with property budgets, cash-flow forecasting, and financial planning.
- Coordinate with property managers, tenants, suppliers, auditors, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Ensure accounting records comply with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation when required.
- Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting and billing issues promptly.
- Maintain organized documentation and ensure confidentiality of financial information.

Requirments
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably within property management, real estate, or facilities management.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
