Professional Development or PD refers to activities that develop an individual’s skills,

knowledge, expertise and other characteristics required to perform a role effectively.

At Ekya, Professional Development Institute, is responsible for creating a culture of learning in the organization and providing learning and development opportunities to all internal and external stakeholders.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented qualified who is passionate about education, designing learning journeys and people development to join the PDI team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Learning Needs & Program Design

● Identify learning and development needs, with a focus on educators and other employees.

● Translate identified needs into clear learning objectives and outcomes.

● Research and curate relevant content, resources and learning material.

● Support the design of structured learning experiences aligned to identified needs.

- Training Facilitation & Implementation

● Design and facilitate Educator training programs (for K12 schools and universities) in both online and offline formats.

● Use appropriate facilitation strategies and technology tools to create engaging learning experiences.

● Coordinate and organise training sessions across different campuses and venues.

● Support the implementation of learning programs and ensure smooth execution.

- Learning & Program Evaluation

● Track participation and attendance across learning programs with support from the

Operations executive.

● Support in maintaining records of learner participation, assignments and learning progress.

● Evaluate program effectiveness through participation data, assignment completion and learner feedback.

● Analyse feedback and learning data to identify opportunities for improving programs and processes.





- Learning Resources & Documentation

● Create and maintain a structured training material and resource repository.

● Ensure learning resources, program documentation and relevant records are organised and updated.

● Support the creation of program reports and documentation as required.

- Stakeholder Collaboration

● Work closely with PDI Program manager, school leadership, educators and other stakeholders to understand learning needs and implement relevant interventions.

● Build positive working relationships with facilitators, participants and internal stakeholders.

● Coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely design and delivery of programs.

Required Skills

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

● Ability to present complex ideas in a simple, clear and engaging manner.

● Strong facilitation and presentation skills.

● Comfortable using technology tools required for training, facilitation and program management.

● Ability to research, synthesise and organise learning material based on identified needs.

● Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

● Ability to analyse participation, feedback and learning data.

● Strong coordination and execution skills.

● Ability to connect and build rapport with people.

● Ability to leverage AI tools effectively to research, structure and design engaging learning modules, activities and training resources.

● Willingness to learn, experiment and continuously improve learning experiences.

Educational Qualifications / Desired Experience

● Degree in Education, Psychology, Human Resources, Learning & Development or a related field.

● 3-5 years of experience in education, teacher development, training, facilitation or learning and development will be an advantage.
