About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Manager who will take ownership of finance and accounting operations while helping us modernise and strengthen our existing systems and processes.
The person will report to Senior Manager finance and oversee all direct and indirect tax matters for the organisation. The role is responsible for timely, accurate tax filings; implementation of tax-compliant processes and controls; management of tax audits and assessments; and use of digital tools to strengthen compliance,



reporting, and governance.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys building and improving systems, rather than simply maintaining routine accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Direct Tax Compliance
- Manage income-tax compliance for the company, including advance tax, self-assessment tax, tax provision, and annual income-tax return filing.
- Ensure correct deduction, payment, reconciliation, and filing of TDS/TCS returns.
- Review tax computations, deferred-tax calculations, tax audit schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax auditors, consultants, and legal advisers for audits, assessments, notices, appeals, and litigations.
- Monitor tax-demand notices, refunds, rectifications, and assessment timelines through the Income Tax e-Filing portal.
- Support tax-effective business decisions, transactions, contracts, and intercompany arrangements.
