Operations Management (Plant Head)

Location: Chakan, Pune

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Head to lead and oversee all manufacturing operations. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring product quality, maintaining safety standards, optimizing costs, and building a high-performance culture across the plant.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping manufacturing strategy, delivering business objectives, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve operational and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership
- Lead end-to-end plant operations to ensure secure, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing performance.
- Develop and execute operational strategies to achieve production, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Monitor production schedules, capacity utilization, material consumption, and equipment effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

People Leadership
- Build, lead,



and develop a high-performing manufacturing organization.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
- Coach and mentor leaders across operations and support functions.
- Drive workforce capability development through effective training and succession planning.

Quality Management
- Ensure products consistently meet customer expectations, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain robust quality systems and process controls.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
- Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Safety, Compliance, and Sustainability
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Lead safety audits, risk assessments, and corrective action programs.
- Ensure adherence to company policies
