This role offers the chance to serve as a strategic finance partner to an Australian-based business while working from Bangalore. You will play a key role in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis, providing insights that support informed business decisions. The position combines strong financial expertise with commercial understanding and close collaboration with senior business and operational leaders. You will contribute to budgeting, long-term planning, business case evaluation, and executive reporting across the organization. The role also offers opportunities to improve financial processes through automation, data analytics, and enhanced reporting tools. It is well suited to a qualified finance professional who is analytical, commercially minded, and comfortable collaborating across international teams and time zones.

Accountabilities:




- Lead the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans in collaboration with Australian business leaders.
- Translate operational and commercial drivers into accurate financial forecasts covering revenue, costs, capital requirements, and other key business areas.
- Maintain and continuously enhance financial planning and forecasting models to support effective business planning and decision-making.
- Deliver detailed monthly variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, identifying key performance drivers, risks, opportunities, and emerging trends.
- Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to help improve business and operational performance.
- Support the evaluation of financial business cases, including capital investment proposals, return assessments, and other strategic initiatives.
- Prepare monthly management reporting packs for executive leadership
