ROLE PURPOSE
Develop and deliver software applications for external clients by translating business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Collaborate with Product Management and client representatives to gather, analyze, and define technical requirements and solution designs.
Work closely with engineering teams to support software enhancements, application modernization, and implementation of technical changes.
Enable successful client adoption through effective communication, technical guidance, and ongoing production support.

Role Overview
- Responsible for the design, development, enhancement, and support of business-critical AS400 applications that meet client and business requirements.
- Acts as a key liaison between Product Management, clients, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on requirements, technical solutions, and delivery outcomes.
- Contributes to application modernization, design improvements, performance optimization, and production stability through robust technical expertise and ownership.




- Provides technical leadership, promotes engineering best practices, and supports continuous improvement initiatives across the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, test, debug, and maintain AS400 software applications and enhancements.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to define business and technical requirements.
- Participate in software design discussions and contribute to architecture, design, and technology decisions.
- Create and maintain technical specifications, design documents, and support documentation.
- Develop, test, and deploy code using AS400 technologies and established development standards.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while ensuring application stability and performance.
