Roles & Responsibilities
The Data Intern will support our research, analysis,



and product development efforts by working with public and proprietary datasets to generate insights that inform strategic decisions in the development and social impact sector. Key responsibilities include:
Data Collection & Preparation
- Comfortable with Data wrangling, Data manipulation and Data cleaning as per the analytical plan using data analytical tools.
- Source, clean, validate, and manage datasets from secondary data sources like UDISE+, ASER, Ministries,World Bank, GOI portals and other public domain data relevant to development indicators.
- Support the creation of standardized data pipelines for recurring datasets, ensuring reliability and consistency in data ingestion and structuring.
- Work with team members to identify data quality issues and develop approaches to reconcile inconsistencies or gaps.

Data Analysis & Insight Generation
- Conduct descriptive and inferential analysis to surface trends, patterns, and anomalies across domains such as health, education, livelihoods, and sustainability.
