Why this role exists
This role sits at the center of SaaS Labs’ commercial revenue engine, converting a multi-channel pipeline of partner referrals, events, webinars, and ABM-driven demand into closed, forecastable revenue. This is a builder’s seat, not an order-taker’s: Because a meaningful share of the pipeline is self-sourced rather than handed off, this seat controls its own quota attainment instead of waiting on inbound.
We’re looking for the kind of Commercial Account Executive who treats that marketing and partner engine as an accelerant, not a crutch - someone who can run a full-cycle B2B SaaS sales motion solo, convert channel-sourced demand into closed revenue, and still go build pipeline from scratch when the account list runs dry.
What you’ll actually do
- Own the full sales cycle end-to-end - prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation, and close. No handoffs.
- Self-source pipeline against a defined ABM/lookalike account list - plus accounts you identify and build yourself. This seat rewards hunters.
- Work partner- and solution-partner-sourced referrals - routed directly to the Commercial team and yours to convert.
- Convert event, webinar, and ABM-generated demand into closed revenue - regional events and a minimum of one webinar per quarter feed your pipeline.
- Own pre- and post-event/webinar follow-through - the pipeline is only as positive as the execution around it.
- Keep clean CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting in Salesforce - your numbers need to be trustworthy, not just optimistic.
- Blend channel-sourced and self-sourced pipeline - partner referrals, events, webinars, and ABM/lookalike targeting are accelerants, not a crutch.
What we’re looking for
- 6+ years of full-cycle closing experience in B2B SaaS - ideally in a mid-market or commercial-segment deal size.
- Proven self-sourced pipeline generation - a real track record of building pipeline yourself, not just working inbound.
