Nasdaq Trading Engineering is looking for a Specialist - Quality Engineering to join its established team in Bengaluru (Bangalore). This role offers the chance to work on mission-critical financial trading systems in a global engineering workplace, collaborating with teams across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, API testing, and integration testing, with a strong focus on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of complex applications. Your Role and Responsibilities will include :

As a Specialist - Quality Engineering, you will be responsible for validating and ensuring the quality of complex trading applications and services. In addition to collaborating closely with colleagues in Bengaluru, you will work with global Nasdaq teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

and maintain integration and system-level test cases to validate end-to-end trading workflows across multiple interacting components and services.
- Perform API and integration testing, identifying suitable scenarios for automation and ensuring coverage of critical business flows such as order management, trade lifecycle management, and downstream processing.
- Apply hands-on test automation skills using one or more programming or scripting languages such as Java, Python, Shell, or similar technologies, actively contributing to automated test suites and frameworks.
- Analyze test results and leverage quality metrics such as defect trends, test coverage, and failure analysis to assess product quality and focus testing efforts on high-risk and business-critical areas.
