As an SDET II in Akamai's Cloud Technology Group, design, develop, and maintain automated testing tools ensuring software quality and reliability. Collaborate with diverse teams to identify, analyze, and resolve software defects efficiently. Contribute to improving testing processes and methodologies, fostering innovation and continuous improvement throughout the software development lifecycle.
As a Software Development Engineer in Test II, you will be responsible for:
- Building frameworks to automate deployment, configuration,



and testing for many components of our compute cloud offering.
- Advising in utilizing and managing automation frameworks and tools, including Pytest, Playwright, SaltStack, Github Actions, and Jenkins.
- Showcasing high-level proficiency in Python test case development and the creation of automated scripts.
- Having experience in Linux system administration (specifically, server administration, networking, system internals, and package management).
- Mastering of testing best practices, from the analysis of design documentation to the creation of thorough, repeatable test plans.
