Job Description:

Role Overview

Bigul is looking for an AVP – Research to lead its research and market intelligence function, with deep expertise in Algo trading, derivatives/options, technical analysis and quantitative research.

The role will be responsible for building a differentiated research capability that delivers actionable, data-driven insights, trading strategies and investment intelligence for Bigul's customers, while strengthening Bigul's positioning as a trusted platform for serious traders and investors.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Market Intelligence
- Lead the research function covering equities, derivatives, options, indices and broader market trends.
- Develop actionable market views, trading ideas, technical setups and investment insights.
- Build research frameworks and methodologies that are differentiated, consistent and data-driven.
- Track market trends, sectors, stocks, volatility, momentum and other key market indicators.

Options & Trading Research
- Develop expertise-driven research on options strategies, volatility, open interest,



option chains, Greeks, spreads and derivatives positioning.
- Identify short-term trading opportunities using technical, derivatives and quantitative signals.
- Develop and evaluate trading strategies across different market conditions.
- Create research products such as trade ideas, strategy reports, market outlooks, options strategies and technical screens.

Technical & Quantitative Analysis
- Build systematic approaches using technical indicators, price/volume analysis, quantitative models and statistical techniques.
- Develop quantitative screens, signals and scoring models for stocks and trading opportunities.
- Back-test strategies and evaluate their performance, risk and robustness.
- Leverage data and technology to improve the speed, quality and scalability of research.

Customer-Facing Research
- Convert complex research into easy, actionable insights for retail traders and investors.
