What you'll own
Seeking an experienced Senior Systems Support Engineer / SRE to provide operational support for business-critical payment processing platforms and middleware technologies. The role focuses on incident management, root cause analysis, service reliability, automation, release support, and continuous operational improvement within a 24x7 production setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24x7 on-call support for critical production systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents using ITSM Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
- Perform log-level analysis, root cause investigations, and defect management.
- Partner with Product, Development, Infrastructure, and Business teams to resolve issues and implement permanent fixes.
- Support production releases, disaster recovery exercises, and change events.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
- Drive service reliability, operational efficiency, and automation initiatives.
- Create scripts and tooling to reduce manual effort and improve support processes.
- Analyze operational trends and communicate findings to technical and business stakeholders.
