? About the Role
Alkemiz is looking for a Fabric Data Lead to serve as the technical authority for our Microsoft Fabric estate — ensuring it is well governed, fit for purpose, and aligned to business needs.
The Fabric Data Lead applies strong design and architecture principles with practical judgement,
leading DataOps delivery to balance agility, scalability, quality, and performance. You'll work closely with the Power BI reporting team to understand retail reporting requirements, then design data engineering solutions and semantic models that follow sound architecture patterns within operational constraints.

Fabric Governance
? Ensure every Fabric asset has a clear purpose, defined lifecycle, named business owner, and demonstrable business value
? Actively monitor Fabric capacity usage and implement practical controls to stay within allocated capacity
? Ensure data pipelines are resilient, robust, and supported by effective alerting and monitoring
Solution Design & Delivery
? Translate analytics and business requirements into clear technical requirements and delivery plans
? Apply Fabric best practices and DataSecOps principles to design robust, scalable, maintainable solutions
? Ensure relational data mode
