Position: Project Head / Plant Manager – PET and Plastic Recycling Plant
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana
Employment: Full time
Reporting to: CEO/Promoter
Experience: 12–18 years preferred
We are planning to establish a PET and plastic recycling plant in Hyderabad and are seeking an
experienced Project Head to take complete ownership of the project from concept to
commercial operations.
The selected person will lead feasibility studies, site selection, government approvals, plant
design, machinery selection, construction, installation, commissioning, recruitment, feedstock
sourcing, customer development and ongoing plant operations.
Key responsibilities:
 Prepare the detailed project report, business plan, budget and implementation schedule.
 Recommend plant capacity, recycling process, product mix and technology.
 Manage site selection, plant layout, civil construction, utilities, ETP and fire-safety
systems.
 Coordinate environmental, plastic-waste, factory, fire and other applicable approvals.
 Evaluate and appoint machinery suppliers, contractors,



consultants and laboratories.
 Control project cost, timelines, construction quality, contracts and site safety.
 Supervise machinery installation, trials, commissioning and performance testing.
 Develop reliable sources for PET bottles and other approved plastic feedstock.
 Establish customers for recycled flakes, pellets and other finished products.
 Recruit and train the production, maintenance, quality, EHS and administrative teams.
 Establish SOPs, quality systems, preventive maintenance and production reporting.
 Own plant output, yield, quality, uptime, costs, customer delivery and profitability.
Candidate requirements:
 Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Polymer, Production, Electrical or
Environmental Engineering.
 Approximately 12–18 years of relevant industry experience.
 Must have personally built, expanded or commissioned at least one PET or plastic
recycling plant.
 Knowledge of sort
