Location: Caribbean Department: Cardiology / Diagnostic Services Experience Required: Minimum 4–6 years of relevant clinical experience Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Technologist / Echocardiography Technologist to join a multidisciplinary healthcare team in the Caribbean. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms (cardiac ultrasound), ECG/EKG, and other non-invasive cardiac diagnostic procedures . The role requires solid technical competency, attention to detail, excellent patient-care skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with cardiologists, physicians, nurses, patients, and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) , including 2D, M-mode, colour Doppler, pulsed-wave and continuous-wave Doppler studies. Obtain accurate cardiac measurements, images, and hemodynamic data according to established echocardiography protocols.



Perform 12-lead ECG/EKG testing and recognize technically inadequate recordings or potentially significant abnormalities requiring prompt physician review. Assist with or perform stress echocardiography, exercise ECG testing, ambulatory/Holter monitoring, and other non-invasive cardiac investigations , according to training and clinical privileges. Assist physicians with transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and other specialized cardiac procedures where appropriately trained and authorized. Assess image quality and obtain additional views or measurements when required to ensure complete diagnostic studies. Prepare patients for cardiac diagnostic procedures, explain procedures clearly, and address patient questions or concerns. Recognize urgent or potentially critical findings and promptly escalate them to the appropriate physician in accordance with hospital protocols.
