1. Academic Support & Student Guidance

- n
- Assist faculty members in planning, setting up, and executing weekly lab experiments and practical exams.n
- Guide students during lab hours to troubleshoot programming errors (e.g., in C, C++, Java, Python, Data Structures) and software configurations.n
- Maintain records of student attendance, lab journals, continuous evaluation marks, and assignment submissions.n
- Conduct remedial or doubt-solving lab sessions for students needing extra technical support.n

n2. Lab Management & Maintenance

- n
- Oversee the daily upkeep, cleanliness, and security of the assigned computer laboratories.n
- Install, configure, and update required software applications, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and development tools.n
- Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and local networking issues, escalating complex problems to the central IT support team.n
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all lab assets, including desktop PCs, servers, peripherals, and software licenses.n

n3. Examination & Event Coordination

- Prepare the lab workplace for internal assessments, university practical examinations, and external hacking competitions or workshops.n
- Act as an invigilator/proctor during practical exams to ensure academic integrity.n
- Assist in organizing department-level technical events, faculty development programs (FDPs), or student hackathons.n

nRequired Qualifications & Skills

- n
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech / BCA / MCA / B.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.n
- Technical Proficiency: n
- Strong foundational knowledge in programming languages like Python, Java, C, and C++ .n
- Familiarity with database systems (SQL) and web development technologies.n
- Hands-on experience with both Windows and Linux/Ubuntu operating environments.n
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN configuration, IP addressing).n
