Role Overview:
nWe are looking for a commercially driven, curious and energetic Business Development Manager to own and grow a portfolio of international distributor and importer accounts across multiple geographies. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities and turning good conversations into outstanding business. You will have clear ownership of your portfolio, with accountability for both sales targets and P while working closely with teams across the business to make things happen.

nKey Responsibilities:
nOwn Your Portfolio:
nTake end-to-end ownership of a portfolio of distributor and importer accounts across multiple international markets. Build strong relationships, understand each partner’s business and create clear plans to grow the portfolio.
nGrow Existing Accounts:
nLook beyond the next order. Identify opportunities for repeat business, new product introductions, cross-sell/up-sell, better product mix and expansion into new channels or markets.
nOwn the Numbers:




nDeliver agreed sales targets and stay close to the P of your accounts. Be comfortable discussing revenue, gross margin, contribution, pricing, discounts, trade terms, freight, marketing investments, payment terms and receivables.
nHunt for New Business:
nBuild a strong pipeline of distributors, importers and channel partners. Generate leads, qualify opportunities, make presentations, negotiate, close and turn new relationships into sustainable business.
nUnderstand the Market:
nKeep your eyes and ears open. Use customer conversations, market visits, industry networks and international travel to spot new markets, changing customer needs, competitive activity and opportunities for growth.
nBe the Customer’s Champion Internally:
nUnderstand customer demand and make sure the right teams know what is needed. Work closely with marketing, finance, supply chain, regulatory and product/R teams to deliver a smooth customer expe
