Job Summary: A leading AI integration and AI tech startup is hiring for a Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer to design and implement an end-to-end manufacturing ERP and automation ecosystem. The role involves configuring and extending ERPNext/Frappe, integrating systems, and building automated workflows for production, inventory, quality, subcontracting, and costing. The ideal candidate will combine robust manufacturing process knowledge with hands-on expertise in ERP architecture, Python, APIs, integrations, and workflow automation.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Manufacturing Process Architecture
Analyse manufacturing processes together with operational stakeholders and translate them into scalable digital workflows. Design the target operating model for:
- raw materials;
- components;
- bills of materials;
- production routing;
- workstations;
- production orders;
- work-in-progress;
- subcontracted operations;
- quality control;
- rework;
- finished goods;
- inventory;
- costing;
- traceability.

Identify process gaps, manual activities and opportunities for automation.
2. ERPNext / Frappe Architecture
Configure and extend ERPNext / Frappe to support the manufacturing model. Own the architecture of:
- Items and Item Groups;
- Units of Measure;
- Warehouses;
- Bills of Materials;
- Multi-level BOMs;
- Routing;
- Operations;
- Workstations;
- Work Orders;
- Job Cards;
- Production P
