nJob Summary
nWe are seeking an experienced Real Estate Analyst to support our US-based real estate valuation and financial reporting practice. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in property appraisals, purchase price allocation, and fair value reporting, with the ability to build valuation models independently and work closely with cross-functional and cross-border teams.

nKey Responsibilities

- n
- Execute property appraisals for financial and tax reporting purposes across US/Canada real estate portfoliosn
- Build and maintain valuation models using DCF, Direct Capitalization, Cost Approach, and Residual methodsn
- Support purchase price allocation (ASC 805) and fair value reporting (ASC 820) engagementsn
- Analyze market data, comparable transactions, and cap rate trends to inform valuation assumptionsn




- Prepare detailed valuation reports and supporting documentation for client and audit reviewn
- Liaise with US-based engagement teams, clients, and stakeholders during EST working hoursn
- Review and validate work performed by junior analysts; provide technical guidance where requiredn
- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements in valuation workflowsn
- Stay current on real estate market trends, regulatory changes, and valuation standards (ASC 805/820)n

nRequired Qualifications
n
- n
- 5+ years of experience in real estate valuation, appraisal, or financial reportingn
- Strong working knowledge of ASC 805 and ASC 820 valuation frameworksn
- Proficiency in building financial/valuation models from scratch (DCF, Direct Cap, Cost Approach)n
- Prior experience with US and/or Canada real estate markets preferredn
- Advanced MS Excel skills; working knowledge of Alteryx, Python, or Tableau a p
