nRole Summary
nWe are looking for a Bengali Language Specialist with strong translation and localization experience to support multilingual content across digital products and platforms.
nKey Responsibilities

- n
- Translate and edit a variety of content, including UI content and long-form text .n
- Perform linguistic and functional testing of translated products.n
- Identify and resolve linguistic, grammatical, and cultural issues.n
- Maintain and update terminology databases and style guides .n
- Provide linguistic and cultural expertise for localization projects.n
- Provide linguistic guidance and support to vendor translation teams.n
- Ensure translated content is accurate, natural, culturally appropriate, and consistent.n

nWhat We’re Looking For
n
- n
- 100% native fluency in Bengali and near-native fluency in English.n




- 3+ years of experience in English ↔ Bengali translation.n
- Solid editing and proofreading skills.n
- Good understanding of Bengali culture, language nuances, and current trends.n
- Experience in localization, linguistic testing, or digital content is preferred.n
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.n

nPreferred Qualifications
n
- n
- Degree in Translation Studies, Linguistics, Communications , or a related field.n
- Experience working in the social media, mobile, web, or digital product space .n
- Familiarity with Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools .n
- Experience working with translation/localization vendors.n

nCandidate Requirements
nMust-have:

- Native-level Bengali fluency.n
- Near-native English proficiency.n
- 3+ years of English ↔ Bengali translation/localization experience .n
