nRole Overview
nThe Infrastructure Automation Engineer will design, implement, and operate enterprise‑grade automation solutions using VMware Aria Automation. The role focuses on end‑to‑end VM lifecycle automation, Day‑2 operations, and secure integration with core enterprise platforms, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.

nKey Responsibilities
n1. Infrastructure Automation & VMware
n
- n
- Design, develop, and operate automation solutions using VMware Aria Automation (vRealize Automation)n
- Automate end‑to‑end VM provisioning and Day‑2 operations (CPU, memory, disk, lifecycle tasks)n
- Develop reusable blueprints, workflows, and policies aligned to enterprise standardsn
- Integrate Aria Automation with:n
- vSphere / VCFn
- Active Directory (AD)n
- DNS / IPAMn
- CMDB / ServiceNown
- Security & patching tools (e.g., Nessus, Redhat Satellite, WSUS)n

n2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)



– Azure DevOps

- Implement automation using Python, Terraform, Ansible, PowerCLIn
- Apply DevOps best practices:n
- Version controln
- CI/CD pipelinesn
- Collaborate with Platform, OS, DB, Network, and Security teams for automation use casesn
- Ensure automation complies with security, compliance, and audit requirementsn

n3. Troubleshooting & Operations

- Robust troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for automation issues.n
- Optimize workflows for reliability, performance, and scalabilityn
- Support production, UAT, and DR automation environmentsn

n4. Documentation & Governance

- Create and maintain:n
- SOPs / Automation runbooksn
- Design documentsn
- Provide audit evidence and documentation for internal and external auditsn
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, vendors, and cross‑functional teamsn
