S. business hours About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented USA Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities for U. S.-based businesses. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of U. S. bookkeeping practices, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage financial records. Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books and financial records.- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.- Prepare and maintain monthly financial reports.- Track invoices, expenses, payments, and receipts.- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.- Review financial records for discrepancies and resolve accounting issues.- Maintain organized documentation and supporting financial records.- Coordinate with clients, accountants,



and internal teams as required.- Ensure bookkeeping activities follow applicable U. S. accounting practices.- Payroll accounting Requirements- 2+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, preferably supporting U. S.-based businesses.- Strong understanding of U. S. bookkeeping and accounting principles.- Experience with Quick Books Online is preferred.- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.- Robust reconciliation and financial reporting skills.- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.- Good written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.- Comfortable working in U. S. time zones. Preferred- Experience working with U. S. clients.- Familiarity with payroll, sales tax, and basic U.
