Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Technologist / Echocardiography Technologist to join a multidisciplinary healthcare team in the Caribbean.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms (cardiac ultrasound), ECG/EKG, and other non-invasive cardiac diagnostic procedures . The role requires robust technical competency, attention to detail, excellent patient-care skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with cardiologists, physicians, nurses, patients, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) , including 2D, M-mode, colour Doppler, pulsed-wave and continuous-wave Doppler studies.
- Obtain accurate cardiac measurements, images, and hemodynamic data according to established echocardiography protocols.




- Perform 12-lead ECG/EKG testing and recognize technically inadequate recordings or potentially significant abnormalities requiring prompt physician review.
- Assist with or perform stress echocardiography, exercise ECG testing, ambulatory/Holter monitoring, and other non-invasive cardiac investigations , according to training and clinical privileges.
- Assist physicians with transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and other specialized cardiac procedures where appropriately trained and authorized.
- Assess image quality and obtain additional views or measurements when required to ensure complete diagnostic studies.
- Prepare patients for cardiac diagnostic procedures, explain procedures clearly, and address patient questions or concerns.
- Recognize urgent or potentially critical findings and promptly escalate them to the appropriate physician in accordance with hospital protocols.
