Network Engineer JD – L2
nL2 engineers handle more complex issues and are responsible for configuring and optimizing network systems. They act as a bridge between support and design/architecture teams.
nResponsibilities:

- Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents that L1 cannot handlen
- Configure switches, routers, and firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, etc.)n
- Analyze logs and traffic patterns to diagnose network bottlenecksn
- Support VPN, VLANs, wireless networks, and site-to-site connectivityn
- Implement routine changes and upgrades to network systemsn
- Maintain network diagrams and update technical documentationn

nSkills Required:

- n
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols and device configurationn
- Experience with Cisco IOS, Juniper OS, and firewall rulesn
- Ability to analyze and interpret logs, packet captures, and monitoring datan
- Certifications like CCNA , CCNP , or equivalentn
