Freight Management.

Responsibilities

- Examination and processing of freight invoices based on predefined freight tables of corporate carriers for land, sea and air cargo transport as well as for special transports, express and parcel service.
- Editing, creating and sharing of credits to the different forwarders. Examination, processing and release of cargo invoices to factual and arithmetical accuracy. (manual invoices).
- Clarification and settlement of complaints to the freight invoice (e.g., incorrect loading, calculation of loading meters) directly with the carrier / service provider. The verification shall be carried out in coordination with other departments (e.g., customer service, goods receipt, goods issue).
- Creation of meaningful statistical analyzes and key figures based on accounting data.



Capture and document problems with forwarders in the EDV for performance measurement.
- Realization of measures to improve the performance problems with the forwarders.

Requirements

- Around 3-4 years experience in Freight Management
- Very good knowledge of the processes systems related to Freight
- Valuable knowledge of SAP and MS Office especially MS Excel and Power Point
- Ability to gather data out of the systems and creation of tailormade analysis, for example in Power BI
- Attention to detail and willingness to deliver high-quality results.
