Responsibilities

- Design of attribute, variable, and combined gauges for incoming and in-process inspection.
- Design of machining and assembly fixtures, supporting both current product development and existing product capacity enhancement.
- Design and development of automation solutions for part loading, unloading, and process automation.
- Design of end-of-line test rigs for component performance verification.
- Design of assembly stations and special-purpose machines, focusing on ease of assembly and efficiency.
- Re-engineer fixture and gauge designs to improve quality and productivity.

Requirements

- Educational Qualification: B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with a Diploma/Post-Diploma/PG-Diploma in Tool Design, Machine Design, or Tool Engineering.
- Experience:



58 years of relevant experience in fixture and gauge design, manufacturing, and automation.
- Concept Design: Strong conceptual design skills and proficiency in interpreting component drawings.
- Manufacturing Processes: Sound understanding of various manufacturing processes and material selection.
- Mechanical Pneumatic Knowledge: Familiarity with standard mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components used in fixtures and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs).
- Fixture Gauge Design: Strong knowledge of jigs, fixtures, and gauge design principles.
