Applications are invited for the posts of in an ICMR funded Project under virology research division.

- Project Title: Genome-Wide Crispr/Cas9 screening to Identify unknown Cell-Surface Receptor and Essential Proviral Host Factors in Chandipura Infection

- Contractual basis manpower position: 2

1. Project Research Scientist-II (Non- Medical)

- Essential Qualification: PhD OR M.Sc./M.Tech. (4 YEARS POST MSC EXPERIENCE) in Virology/Biotechnology/Microbiology / Life Sciences or related fields with first division both at Graduate & Post Graduate Level. National Level Fellowship Qualified (GATE/NET-JRF/DBT-JRF) will be preferred.

- Desirable Experience:



Experience in molecular biology /Virology/cell culture techniques from a recognized lab/ Institute. Experience of generating Genome wide CRISP/R/Cas9 screening libraries.

- Salary: 67,000 per month + House Rent Allowance (HRA) as admissible (typically 30% or as per project guidelines).

2. Project Research Scientist-I (Non- Medical)

- Essential Qualification: M.Sc./M.Tech.(3-4 YEARS POST masters experiences) in Virology/Biotechnology/Microbiology / Life Sciences or related fields with first division both at Graduate & Post Graduate Level .National Level Fellowship Qualified (GATE/NET-JRF/DBT-JRF) will be preferred.

- Desirable Experience: Experience in molecular biology/Virology/cell culture techniques from a recognized lab/ Institute

- Salary: 56,000 per month + House Rent Allowance (HRA) as admissible (typically 30% or as per project guidelines).
