Role & responsibilities

- Sampling & Testing: Collect and test raw materials, in-process samples, and finished BOPP/thermal/coated plastic films.
- Quality Equipment Handling: Use basic lab and physical testing instruments (such as Universal Testing Machines [UTM], Melt Flow Index [MFI] testers, coefficient of friction [COF] testers, gloss/haze meters, and moisture analyzers).
- Documentation: Record test results accurately, prepare Certificates of Analysis (COA) data, and maintain standard operating procedure (SOP) records.
- Line Coordination: Report quality deviations immediately to shift officers and coordinate with production/slitting teams to prevent defect leakage.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to plant safety rules, ISO standards, and BRC/quality management guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Academic Background: Degree or diploma in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or Polymer Science.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of polymer properties, testing equipment, and chemical/physical analysis methods.
- Computer Skills: Familiarity with MS Excel and data logging tools.
