- Breakdown Repair: Quickly diagnosing and fixing major mechanical failures to get production running again.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Investigating why a machine broke down and creating permanent solutions so the issue never happens again.
- Spare Parts Management: Keeping inventory of critical spare parts so repairs are never delayed.
- Software Management: Using specialized Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) like SAP or Maximo to log work orders and track machine histories.
- Shutdown Coordination: Leading large-scale, planned factory shutdowns where major equipment is taken apart, cleaned, and completely overhauled.
